Happy Howl-o-ween

Happy Howl-o-ween card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn Fawn
Here's my card for the current happy little critters themed challenge at Lawn Fawnatics.  I used one of the cuties from Lawn Fawn's Happy Howl-o-ween set to create a not too spooky Halloween card.  My  background was made with a mix of distress oxides, pressed on a slick surface and misted with water, then applied to a watercolor paper panel.  I added a strip of green cardstock along the bottom as grass, then positioned the colored critter and his hat on top.  The scene was filled in with a yellow crescent moon and a trio of silver sequin stars.  The set's "Happy Howl-o-ween" and "boooooo" sentiments were stamped on the panel to finish the design.  The scene was layered on to a coordinating purple card base to go with the Halloween theme.

Materials Used:
Happy Howl-o-ween stamp set, Happy Howl-o-ween dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Wilted Violet and Faded Jeans Distress Oxides (Ranger); markers (Copic); Crushed Curry and Elegant Eggplant cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Factory Green cardstock (My Favorite Things); circle punch (EK Success); Landscape Trio dies (Mama Elephant); silver sequins; foam tape
